HDAP / HSP

Housing and Disability Advocacy Program / Housing Support Program

In October 2025, CSS began implementing outreach for the Housing and Disability Advocacy Program (HDAP) and the Housing Support Program (HSP) in partnership with Mono County Social Services.

We reach out to individuals and families in Mono County who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our team connects with people at local schools, the Mono County Jail, and emergency food distribution sites to share information about housing options, public benefits, and food resources—and to provide direct support.

These programs offer advocacy, case management, and financial assistance to help people find and maintain stable housing. Support may include help with rent, security deposits, utilities, moving costs, and ongoing housing navigation to promote long-term stability.
